Tarique Rahman to return home any time: Amir Khasru

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has announced that the party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will return to Bangladesh at any moment.

Speaking at a press conference on contemporary issues at Hotel Sarina in Banani on Saturday, Khasru said all preparations for Tarique Rahman’s return are being finalised.

“Tarique Rahman will return very soon. Everything is being prepared,” he told reporters.

The senior BNP leader further claimed that Tarique Rahman will lead the party in the upcoming 13th parliamentary election.

“He can return any day. Those who spread rumours that he will not come will continue to do so,” Khasru added.
