Despite the 15-day closure of Dhaka University (DU) following recent earthquakes, the undergraduate admission tests for the 2025-26 academic session will be held as per the original schedule.

The university’s admission committee has already released admit cards for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Fine Arts units on the official admission website (admission.eis.du.ac.bd).

According to the pre-announced timetable finalised on 13 October:

  • IBA Unit: 28 November (Friday)
  • Fine Arts Unit (General Knowledge & Drawing): 29 November (Saturday)
  • Business Studies Unit: 6 December (Saturday)

These three units will proceed with their examinations during the closure period.

On 22 November, an emergency Syndicate and SMT meeting decided to suspend all academic activities and examinations from 23 November to 6 December for repair of abandoned and vulnerable halls due to seismic risks. However, the meeting clarified that the undergraduate admission tests will not be affected and will be conducted on the previously declared dates.

Candidates of the IBA and Fine Arts units have been advised to download and print their admit cards immediately from the admission portal.
