The final results of the 44th BCS exam have been revised for the third time, recommending 1,676 candidates for appointment after addressing "errors and discrepancies." The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced this in a notification sent to the government on Tuesday night.
The circular states that the supplementary final results of the 44th BCS (Examination-2021) have been published, with a total of 1,676 candidates passing. Due to a lack of eligible candidates in certain technical/professional cadres, nominations could not be made for 34 posts.
Earlier, on November 6, PSC published the supplementary results for the second time, recommending 1,681 candidates for 1,710 vacant posts across various cadres. Thus, today's revised supplementary results have disqualified an additional 5 candidates.

The PSC notification on November 6 had explained that the first results were published on June 30, 2025. Upon reviewing the information, it was found that 303 nominated candidates had formally declared they would not join their assigned cadre or lower preferences.
In this situation, PSC withheld recommendations for 260 candidates. Meanwhile, 43 candidates were provisionally nominated to higher preference cadres than their current ones.
To fill the resulting vacancies, the commission prepared a new supplementary result following merit order and established quota rules. This led to the provisional nomination of 1,681 candidates across various cadres on November 6.
