BUP Admission Test Dates Revised

The Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has revised the dates for its first-year undergraduate admission test for the 2025-26 session. Applications will be accepted online from November 10 to November 30, 2025.

The admission test will commence on January 9, 2026, and continue until January 17, 2026. The updated schedule was announced in a new circular issued by BUP today, Saturday.

For the first time, the Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS) will be introduced, bringing the total to five faculties for the admission test.

According to the circular:

  • January 9: Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) test (10:30am–11:30am); Bachelor of Business Administration (General) test (3:00pm–4:00pm).
  • January 10: Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS) test (3:30pm–4:30pm).
  • January 17: Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS) test (10:30am–11:30am); Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS) test (3:30pm–4:30pm).

For admission to Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), the GPA requirements differ across faculties and academic backgrounds. The Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) has set the minimum GPA at 8.50 for Science students, 8.00 for those from Business Studies, and 7.50 for Humanities. The Faculty of Arts and Social Science (FASS) requires a GPA of 8.00 for both Science and Business Studies backgrounds and 7.50 for Humanities.

For the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and the Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS), applicants from the Science group must have a GPA of 9.00. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS) has set its requirement at 8.50 for Science, and 8.00 for both Business Studies and Humanities students.
