Notre Dame College, one of Bangladesh’s premier educational institutions, has issued a warning against fraudulent admission coaching centers operating under its name in various parts of the capital. The college authorities have urged students and guardians not to fall prey to such deceptive advertisements, releasing a cautionary notice on the college’s official website.

The notice, signed by Principal Hemant Pius Rozario, clarifies that neither the college nor its faculty operates or endorses any admission coaching programs. It emphasizes that no separate coaching is required to prepare for the college’s admission tests. However, several unauthorized coaching centers in areas like Arambagh, Fakirapul, and Kamalapur have been exploiting Notre Dame College’s name for commercial gain.

The notice specifically addresses misleading banners, such as those from SB Admission Coaching Center in Arambagh, which falsely claim to be “run by former Notre Dame College teachers.” The college authorities have labeled these claims as “completely false, fabricated, and maliciously motivated.” They assert that no current or former Notre Dame College teachers are associated with these coaching centers, and such operations are designed to deceive unsuspecting students and parents.

The college has called on the public to avoid being misled by such enticing advertisements and urged vigilance to prevent falling into the trap of these unscrupulous groups. Notre Dame College remains committed to maintaining transparency in its admission process and protecting its reputation from misuse.
